Milia
What Are Milia?
Milia are small, pearly-white or yellowish bumps that commonly appear on the face—especially around the eyes, cheeks, and nose. Each bump is essentially a tiny cyst filled with keratin, a protein naturally found in skin, hair, and nails. Although they’re most often seen in newborns (sometimes referred to as “milk spots”), milia can affect individuals of any age.
Treatment We use specialised, sterile tools to gently and precisely open the skin’s surface and remove the trapped keratin.
milia sit near the surface, extraction is typically quick and involves minimal discomfort.
Our technique helps ensure the skin heals with no scarring.
For more stubborn or widespread milia, we may recommend medi peels.
